From the moment the idea for this company was conceived it has never been contemplated that I would sell goods of dubious origin to maximise profit, turn a blind eye to the practices of our producers because they offer the best deal or forsake my integrity as a local and community driven trader so that I can 'grow’ my business.
I believe we can operate successfully and professionally as a business without sacrificing my moral code. Of course, everything requires balance and the choices I make will be what I consider to be the right choices. 'Right' does not always mean the one which makes the most money.
The bottom-line is fairness, for everyone.
If this makes survival more difficult then I'll find ways to cope which don't include exploitation.
The wholesalers I use help me maintain the high standards of integrity set for Greentees by supplying non-sweatshop, fairly traded goods.
I can sell them and you can wear them guilt-free.
